ATG CatalogMaintenanceService is not running after each BCC project deployment? - ATG Endeca Integration Issues

Problem:

• Categories, Products, SKUs not getting associated to sites, catalogs after BCC deployment
• Endeca Index is not getting newly added Categories, Products, SKUs through BCC

Solution:

1) See if the you are able to run CatalogMaintenanceService manually without any ERROR

For this go to
Dyn/Admin > Commerce Administration > Catalog Maintenance > Basic Maintenance
/dyn/admin/atg/commerce/admin/en/maintenance/startService.jhtml?process=BasicMaintProcess


Dyn/Admin > Commerce Administration > Catalog Maintenance > Catalog Update
 /dyn/admin/atg/commerce/admin/en/maintenance/startService.jhtml?process=UpdateCatalogProcess 

2) Specify the DCS.PublishingAgent module when you create the application that corresponds with the agent server that will run the Catalog Maintenance Service. For all other servers in the cluster, specify the PublishingAgent module instead.

3) Make sure Server which is running Catalog Maintenance Service, set the active property to TRUE in the /dyn/admin/nucleus//atg/epub/CatalogMaintenanceHelper/ component
